The Return of MusicMatch
Back in January, I wrote about my disdain and frustration with MusicMatch Jukebox in this very blog. My last words on the subject were, "I'm over it. I'm never using MusicMatch again."

I officially feel like the biggest fucking hypocrite in the world!
I'll level with you: since my vow to never use the software again, I've been unable to find a CD ripper/MP3 encoder, free or otherwise, that I can live with. For example, many friends recommended CDex, a lean, mean, CD-ripping machine... or so I was told.
My biggest complaint about CDex is that it took far too long to rip one CD. Adding insult to injury, the sound quality was questionable. Most of the ripped tracks had skips or sounded scratchy. This only further emphasized the notion that "you get what you pay for."
I paid for MusicMatch... it's always worked for me, despite my past key problems... I guess I'll stick with it. Hopefully, I won't need to reformat my hard drive again.

iTunes for Windows is being released tomorrow. You might want to give it a try. The OS X version blows MMJB out of the water.
got something to say?
