Year 39 on the ‘Street’

Today’s N.Y. Daily News gives a sneak preview of “Sesame Street’s” 39th season premiere, which airs today on PBS. (Cripes, 39 years — I suddenly feel old. The show was nearing the end of its 8th season when I was born.)

Feist’s re-working of “1234″ is supposed to be included in today’s episode. If you missed it the first time I posted it, here it is again.

I hear next season they’re going to have Dethklok appear and cut the “nu-nu-nu-nu” typewriter in half.

Then Conor Oberst will be on to talk about his two food groups: red wine and cocaine.

    Just sayin’.

@Marv: I would have figured that typewriter character was upgraded to something more advanced by now.

    Like a 286.

    *pfft! So. Not. Old.

The line up for some upcoming episodes almost has me wanting to add it to the TiVo. Especially NPH as the Shoe Fairy. :-)
