These days, when it comes to blog memes, I’m not a big joiner. But every now and then I come across one that is creative and deserves some attention.
I’m rather behind on this one, but I decided to create a chart for the Song Chart meme that’s been going around for a few weeks now. Not having seen the original entry that spurred the idea, it took me a little while to figure out what exactly was going on. Once I realized people were taking popular songs and turning them into spreadsheets, flow charts, pie charts and Venn diagrams, I thought it was absolutely brilliant.
I wanted to do a chart on Alanis Morissette’s “Ironic,” but someone beat me to it. So I decided on something else.
An image of the chart appears above at the right, but to get the full effect of it, you’ll need to check out the Google Map I created. It’s after the jump.

Are you not reading LJ much these days? It was a big thing about two weeks ago. Many of us posted various songs, including me:

Nope, reading LJ every day and fully aware of the meme. Just thought that the Carmen San Diego aspect was particularly awesome.

I know what you mean. I am seeing this charts everywhere. My other half Eiain is doing them on his website also. I will have to look into it all now. BTW, thanks for you comment about me being back to blogging. I was only away for a few days but I missed you! Its nice to be back.
