Feist Hits the ‘Street’

July 15th, 2008 · 6 Comments

From the “Should’ve Seen It Coming” file, Feist re-worked her song “1234” — made popular by a certain commercial — for the “Sesame Street” set.

This version of “1234″ will air on August 11 as part of “Sesame Street’s” 39th season premiere. Good grief, I’m old! (video via Towleroad)

    I watched it yesterday and thought the lyric changes were great. Ranks up there with Furry Happy Monsters–which still wins because of the Kate Pierson Muppet.

    @brian: WOW! How’d I miss that one?

    Though I have to wonder, is that Kate Muppet bisexual? What a coup for “Sesame Street” that would be!

    @Fredo, as expected, you took it to levels to which it never ever needed to descend…

    @brian: I am nothing — I repeat, nothing — if not consistent. ;)

    :-) Good to see a Nova Scotia native hit Sesame Street. *sheds a tear because he’s homesick for Nova Scotia*

    Oh my. That was adorable and made my Sesame-Street-kid’s heart grin in glee.
