This Mario figurine produces sound effects from the Super Mario Bros. games when you press down on it. Mario joins two Snoopies, three miniature Japanese lucky cats, four Italian glass cats, several shot glasses and a voodoo doll from New Orleans among other items on my tchotchke shelf.

I picked up Mario on the cheap at Think Geek, along with a SMB Soundrop keychain (The one I got makes the familiar coin sound and after 100 of those makes the 1-Up sound.) and the 8-bit Tie. A couple of my co-workers are completely amused by the figurine, but more to my satisfaction, other co-workers are completely annoyed by it.

Then I remind them about their mobile phone ringtones.
