In a former life, I was something of a pinball machine repair wizard (except for that one time I fried a circuit board and no one has ever let me live it down), so color me surprised and delighted when CNET posted a piece about the Lucky JuJu pinball museum and gallery in Alameda, Calif. Methinks I’ll need to make it a place to visit the next time I head to San Francisco. (Because I enjoyed the first time so much, you know.)

Oh, and there’s a photo gallery too.

The Newseum, which closed it’s original location in Arlington a few years ago to move into DC proper, was supposed to open last fall. When that didn’t happen, the opening was pushed back to this coming spring, and according to the CityPaper, the Newseum is looking for volunteers. Looks like it’ll make good on the Spring ’08 deadline.
