London’s 2012 Olympic Games LogoThe logo for the 2012 Olympic Games in London, pictured at right, was unveiled on Monday.

Wow – now that’s UGLY!

No offense to the fine folks at Hanna-Barbera (now Cartoon Network Studios), but this logo looks like something created in the town of Bedrock. Upon first seeing this logo, I thought it must have been some sort of building plan; it does somewhat resemble a group of buildings from overhead.

Why couldn’t they use the logo from their candidate city bid (pictured below)?

It’s a lot cleaner, and certainly more attractive.
