The New York City Waterfalls, an art installation by Olafur Eliasson, opens one week from tomorrow and will be located in four different spots: Governor’s Island; Pier 35 in Manhattan; the Brooklyn Bridge; and between Piers 4 and 5 in Brooklyn.
According to the New York Times, this is the biggest public art installation since the Gates in Central Park three years ago.
I never got to see the Gates, but I’m intent on seeing this before it closes on October 13.
